Elm Acres Youth and Family
Services, a Program of DCCCA, Inc., has been serving children and families since 1955. In October, 2004, Elm Acres merged with DCCCA, Inc., a not-for-profit agency with administrative offices in Lawrence, Kansas.
The mission of Elm Acres is to provide residential, family and other services to youth that are at risk for out-of-home care or have been separated from their families. Our goal is to keep families safely together or, if separation is unavoidable, to provide the services necessary for the youth to return to their family or achieve a permanency goal.

Services
For over 50 years, Elm Acres has cultivated the Elm Acres/Community partnership recognizing that problems faced by the families and children we serve are far too complex and encompassing to be resolved by any one agency. We have developed an extensive network of collaborators and supporters that play key roles in providing resources for the families and children served by our various programs. The Family Resource Services Case Manager will continue to work with the many agencies that refer clients to this service but also many other agencies whose services are so critical to families and children in our community.
