Goals for the Course

By the end of the two week course, students will be able to

• Provide 2 positive and 2 negative aspects of diagnosing children
  
• Name the 6 characteristics of effective child assessment
  Explain the purpose of each of the 5 Axes of the Multiaxial Assessment
  
• Identify the facts, symptoms, and treatment options for 7 childhood diagnoses
  
• Determine the diagnoses for children when given case examples
  
• Locate resources to assist those dealing with childhood diagnoses
